[Toki doesn't know what happened, but there's a weird guy in a red costume, and a talking bear. He doesn't recognize Gongenzaka's voice, because he doesn't pick on those things.]

Yuya blinks rapidly at the sudden silence, looking around, and by the time he turns back Kano's illusion is back up. It's almost enough to make Yuya think maybe he wasn't seeing things right, but... no, that was definitely a broken arm. Was it fixed that quickly?]

... Mm. Yeah, you're going to be all right. [Yuya assures again with a softness in his tone that he rarely finds himself using. But normally he's not faced with arms being shattered and primal screams of fear.]

But I think you hurt your arm. Can you try moving them for me?

[Kokkuri-san stops screaming and is suddenly perfectly fine, like nothing had even happened to Kano's body.]

I WILL FIND YOU A DOLL! I PROMISE~!

[He will, even if it's horrifying to think about, because it might save Kano.]

No he cannot move, because the moment he moves his broken arm, the spike of pain will break him down all over again, and he's just barely clinging on to his illusions right now with the constant baseline of agony.

[Having Kano's arms waved around in his face, besides the worry, does result in him reflexively moving to catch the wrist of the arm that he's sure was (is) broken.] I don't think we need a doll right now, Toki... what happened, anyway?

Yuya! We summoned Kokkuri-san! On the roof! He texted me!

[He points at Kano; he still doesn't know his name.]

And then we went to the roof to play Kokkuri-san to talk to my sister and get information, but we didn't have a coin, so we used a Rilakkuma phone charm, and then I thought he was just joking, so I was going to go back inside, but he wasn't! We really summoned Kokkuri-san and I told her to take his soul and use his body and now he's possessed and she won't give it back until I find her a doll to use as a new vessel~!

[Yuya releases Kano's arm and his expression falls. He knows that the supernatural is very real, and so is all manner of demonic possession, but... Kokkuri-san, really?

And he knows acting, and Kano's is falling apart a little with the whole falling screaming breaking his arm deal.

But he'll play along for now.] Okay. When you're getting a doll, can you also tell the school nurse to come here? Do that first, even.

[He looks back to Kano.] Unless you want to walk there, but I think it'd be better if you just stay still and calm down.

[Toki is going with his original idea on the roof, then.]

I know it's small, but you don't actually have a physical body to fit inside it! IT'S JUST TEMPORARY UNTIL I CAN FIND YOU A MORE SUITABLE VESSEL, GREAT KOKKURI-SAN~!

[He is too preoccupied with this to go do anything useful.]

[That's honestly completely fair. Luckily Peter is beating them to the punch.]

We'll go get a nurse. For now just try to stay still, okay? I promise everything's going to be okay.

[He shifts back from the couch, looking to Toki.] Ready?

[He gets off the couch to leave with Yuya.]

Kokkuri-san, I will keep my promise and find you the most beautiful d-doll-

[She's going to be so creepy even in a perfectly normal-looking doll; he's not imaging good things.]

Mm, we'll be back soon. [He waves to Kano before turning to help steer Toki for the door. Luckily, it's about when Ekke comes in with Peter, so they can trust Kano to be well taken care of.

Which means Yuya should probably clear the air, and he leans a little closer to Toki.] You know, he's not possessed by anything, right?

[Toki looks down at Yuya, and he's completely serious about this.]

I thought he was messing with me, but then he jumped off the roof and I tried to see if he was okay, but Kokkuri-san's disembodied voice floated up from EVERYWHERE AND HE'S DEFINITELY POSSESSED OTHERWISE HE'D BE DEAD!

[Oh jeez. Yuya holds his hands out, trying to ease Toki into calming the hell down.]

You both fell, but Odd-Eyes caught him. I saw it! That's why he's not dead.

[He knows what really happened, here.]

Remember one of the classes you signed up for? Magic illusions?

[He reviews what happened in his head. It was possible it was an illusion... maybe.]

WHY WOULD HE DO THAT!? Why would he try and make me think he was dead?

[They both could have actually died, because Toki was so stupid and believed Kano had actually leapt off the roof and was possessed by... Kokkuri-san. Kokkuri-san. He laughs nervously; he really believed something as ridiculous as Kokkuri-san.]

It... it looked real.

[Now he's slightly less confused about everything, but doesn't feel any less guilty because he basically pulled Kano off the roof with him anyway. Technically, it wasn't his fault Kano scared him, but he's still the one who slipped.]

I don't think he meant it to get that far. [He doesn't actually know Kano well at all, but he wants to have faith he wasn't trying to completely terrorize Toki to the point of trauma.

Especially because he went and broke his arm in the process.] Anyway, are you okay?

I'm fine~!

[He is completely dismissing this, and will never be the one to bring it up again.]

[Yuya pauses, then draws his hands back with a small smile.] That's good. Let's go get Kano-san help so he's okay, too.

Kano? That's his name? I hope he's not hurt too badly~!

[Stop talking about this, Yuya. Nothing happened.]

Pretty sure his arm's broken. [Yuya's not knee deep in denial here.] Uh, but he'll definitely be taken care of! We have really good nurses here because of some of the dangerous stuff we have to do, and sometimes there's accidents.

[Put a bunch of superpowered kids in one building, there's definitely accidents.]

Accidents happen~! I'm sure he'll be fine~!
