It's not a school without a mysterious new transfer student [OPEN]
Who: Christo and you
What: Christo gets settled in.
When: Early May.
Where: Soleil, various parts of campus, Aube, the network
A. How does your garden grow? -- Soleil, campus
[Now that he's gotten moved in, Christo's come to the realization that he's going to be here for awhile and that he's probably going to have more downtime than he expected.
Of course, that means picking up his hobbies from home.
Whether it's on campus or in town, you may catch Christo dragging along a small wagon filled with precariously stacked garden pots and starter flowers, a few seed packets tucked here and there.]
I wonder if I'm forgetting anything...
B. A very important phone call. -- an out of the way part of campus
[The moment his phone rang, Christo had ducked away to one of the less traveled parts of campus. Anyone who stumbles upon him now will catch him in hushed, serious conversation, eyes darting around as if he's afraid he might be caught.
At least until...]
I--
[His expression shifts, clearly annoyed.]
Yes. I made sure to pack a toothbrush.
...
With all due respect, I don't see how the amount of underwear I packed is any of your business.
...
Sir, I know how to do laundry.
[It's about now that Christo notices that he's not alone, and though he seems almost panicked at first, it changes to an incredible amount of relief almost immediately.]
Ah, yes, yes, I would be happy to hear my horoscope for the week, but it seems like someone is trying to get my attention at the moment. Please excuse me.
[He hangs up before the person on the other line can respond and puts the phone away with a sigh.]
Sorry about that. Can I help you?
C. un: yuie
Good afternoon--or evening, if you're reading this then. My name is Christo, and I am the new RA for Aube Dormitory's first floor. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you should need any help, academic or otherwise.
I ask only that you try to go easy on me for at least a week. I've heard that dorm life can get somewhat... exciting here.
[AKA he's heard about the Lum dorms]
D. Now that that's Settled -- Aube
[he's moved in, watered his flowers, and introduced himself on the network. Now all that's left to do is relax.
Christo has set himself up in the common area on the first floor, a cup of steaming hot tea close at hand and a chess board set up in front of him, playing against himself.]

B. A very important phone call.
[The black cat in Toki's arms meows on command. It's mournful.]
You're new, right!? Was that your dad!? The golems can do your laundry for you if you want, but there's laundry rooms too if you have things you don't want them to see!
no subject
[He sounds insulted at the very thought.]
That's just how he is, unfortunately. I have no problem doing my laundry myself.
no subject
Good! Because I wouldn't trust the golems not to report things they find in your laundry, like experimental items left in your pockets or weird stains! I bet they even analyze the blood on your clothes! Oh! But I feel I should warn you about the dryers! I don't know which dorm you're in, but there's a sock-stealing gremlin or something in Lumiere! Anyway! I'm Toki! Hello~!
no subject
Maybe it's better to stick with introductions for the time being.]
Christo. It's a pleasure to meet you. Would I be correct in assuming you're a student here?

[ Kano pops up from behind Christo, reaching over to pick up a seed packet or two that are threatening to fall out of the wagon. He has no idea what he would want with seeds, but they're nevertheless so tempting to steal... but not in broad daylight right in front of somebody. ]
Are you moving these into the greenhouse? Or do you have a rooftop garden??
no subject
[He stops to adjust his pile of gardening tools]
I wouldn't mind setting something up on the roof if it would be allowed, but I'd like to have a couple of plants in my room as well. It's not quite a taste of home, but it should suffice.
no subject
[ Kano stops as well, sticking the seed packets into his pocket instead of setting them back where he found them, so he can circle the wagon and see what else Christo's got with him. ]
As for the roofs... I can't see why it wouldn't be allowed! It'd allow for some more traction, I think~ Where was your home before? Did you live in the woods? Do you know lots about the woods??
no subject
I'll pass on the bees, but I'm curious as to why you're selling them.
[and stealing his seeds. It's small, but it doesn't go unnoticed, even if Christo's pretending it has]

[For the time being though, a hat crept up behind the couch to watch. Was chess actually a game you could play by yourself? It seems like something you would win pretty easily...]
no subject
He realized that he's being watched fairly quickly, but he gives Puella some time to reveal herself on her own. It isn't until he realizes she's not going to say anything that he speaks up.]
You can come out, you know. I don't bite.
no subject
[...Okay fine.]
How come you're playing by yourself?
no subject
[He gestures to a nearby seat. No need to stay hidden, Puella.]

[As they are not Lumiere.]

That said, my offer is for everyone in the dorms, not just my own floor. Should you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to visit. If I'm not out, I should be in either my room, the common room, or on the roof.
no subject
Oh, and uh, be careful on the roof, that place seems a danger magnet on both dorms. Not sure why.

this is creepy
[ This text comes in heinously late. Like. 2 AM or something. ]

I'm not too sure about that. I'm sure this "changing of the guard" is pure coincidence.
Are you in Aube as well?
no subject
or its a conspiracy but hey dont listen to me

It's not too late to run back to the town if you're really that worried about it.
[He reaches out to a pot that's teetering a little precariously, pushing it back into place.]
no subject
[He nods and takes some time to adjust his pile of supplies for the better]
I could... But I'd prefer not to purchase too much in my first week here. I can try to make do without.
no subject
[He looks over the pile, and it seems to be much better balanced this time.
He cocks his head.]
The school tries it's best to fund the interests of it's students and staff. A happy community is a community that fights well.

Like Christo, apparently.]
What's with all the plants? You a vegetarian or something?
no subject
How in the world is this school managing to land so many big fish?!
He composes himself after a moment, and clears his throat]
Ah, you... must mean my gardening supplies. It's a hobby of mine, actually.
no subject
What? You mean you do it for fun?
[Judging by his tone, he's less asking for a confirmation and more of a reason. Why would anyone do something like that.]
