Who: Peter Parker + you!
What: Various open prompts.
Where: Aube, STARR Club HQ and Soleil
When: The week after zombie mission and Gwen's arrival.
Warnings: None anticipated!
Fixer-Upper (Aube Floor 3)
[ Multiple midnight dumpster runs later, Peter finally has a decent collection of stuff to work on here. The common room on the third floor of Aube has been temporarily taken over by junk and tools, which have been loosely sorted into different piles. Here's a bunch of electronic parts. Here's some casings that seem mostly intact. These are screens, that appears to be a pile of ancient game console tidbits... The biggest item is an old CRT TV that is just wrecked. But - it's not what he's working on right this second. No, he seems to be focused on multiple funny-looking bracelets laid out on a cloth. He's had at least three requests for webshooters by now, and he aims to get them done today. Also, finally fix the one that Kano busted.
See what he's up to? Yell at him for taking up all the space? Or maybe if you ask him nicely, he'll build something fun for you.
In this prompt (as well as all of the others!) Peter has a fresh set of claw marks on his face. The cuts are clean and healing nicely, but obviously very fresh. Someone ran into something nasty lately. ]
STARR Club
[ Who the hell was dumb enough to let Peter start a club again? Oh wait, this is technically Gohan's fault probably. Though honestly, it's safer than just letting all these technically inclined idiots blow up their dorm room or something.
The STARR Club (Science, Technology And Runes/Robotics) was technically up and running in the first few days of school. Pete's definitely been in and out doing stuff. But now? It's officially, definitely open, and Peter is heading up the first meeting. He's. Frankly a bit overwhelmed? Please someone else take this over so he can go back to making webshooters in the corner like he actually wants to do. ]
So uh - I guess we need rules? Or something? To be official.
[ He has a whiteboard set up, on which he already has a helpful list started:
Annnd that's it. ]
Soleil, Returning Late
[ Of course that just covers the daytime activities. At night ... Peter tries to sleep, he really does, but inevitably he wakes up at some point and just needs to leave. Swing out to Soleil, get some fresh air come back at an ungodly hour, whatever. Today he's donned his hobo spider suit to go foil some midnight muggings in the local town. He's also taking a swing through campus too, so maybe you see this mysterious Spider-Man out and about?
Or, perhaps worse, you catch him just as he's sneaking back into Aube at 3 AM. The suit is tucked away, but he definitely is sneaking through the hallways up to his room, trying not to look guilty. ]
Spider Astronomy - CLOSEDish
[ Whose idea was this again? It doesn't really matter, honestly; Peter would have been up here regardless and the other two spider kids are nerdy enough this likely appealed to them too. Early in the morning of January 21st, Peter sneaks his way up to the roof of the Aube dorms, carrying a duffel bag full of junk with him. It's cold, as always, but the night is clear, and they have a perfect view of the moon. Pete's here to set up some blankets, put together the world's worst telescope, and watch the lunar eclipse with Gwen and Miles. He's even gotten a couple thermoses full of hot soup from the kitchen. ]
D'you think the faculty does some kind of weird blood moon ritual or something for this?
[ It wouldn't surprise him, honestly. This place is weird enough already.
Of course if you're up on the roof at about the same time (doing the same thing, maybe!) it wouldn't be hard to run into the trio. ]
(( Hit me up @
katoptron if you want me to write up a starter just for you! Otherwise all prompts are OTA. Will match format. ))

"No text, no note, and obviously you didn't talk to me. You must have really wanted that curfew, huh?"
Seriously, it hadn't even been a month Peter. What the hell?

"I - uh - " He'd had no intention of telling Bumblebee anything, honestly; he'd sort of assumed that Bee wouldn't notice. He's regretting that a whole lot right now. "Look, I have a really good reason for it."
Give him a minute and he'll think of it.
no subject
And, as tired as Peter looked, he didn't look like someone who'd been lying in a ditch for three hours.
no subject
"Well it wasn't that," he admits. What should he actually say? The whole reason why he'd not even considered leaving Bumblebee notes is because he didn't want to make it obvious he's Spider-Man. Despite it already being obvious he's Spider-Man. "Why do you care anyway? I can take care of myself."

*Graffiti is totally a crime, maybe some hero should do something about it.*

As she's lifting her hand to put the finishing touches on her art, a web comes out of nowhere, snatching it out of her hand. ]
Do you take constructive criticism? Because I have some thoughts on your color composition.
[ Up on the roof, there's a ... guy! A spider-guy in what looks like a hoodie, a ski mask, and modified welding goggles. He's also got her spray can now. ]
no subject
Isn't it more polite to wait until a work is done to butt in where nobody wants you?
And you really shouldn't be talking about color composition in... that.

STARR Club / OTA
[They were perfectly reasonable rules, and nothing else was needed.]
I have an idea for the Theatre Club~! Let's make fireworks!
[Toki hasn't been to a Theatre Club meeting yet, and they may not even need any pyrotechnics for whatever play, but did it really matter?]
no subject
Dude, I'm all for it. Let's get some cross-club good will going on here.
no subject
Magic~ fireworks! And maybe they can explode into crickets!
[He did miss the cricket fiasco, and that was a shame.]

STARR Club - Inevitable Mistakes
There sure hasn't been a club for card collecting, in any case.
But that doesn't mean he won't pass the room where STARR is doing their thing.
And given what STARR is, that also means-]
BR-OUM!
[...The chances of him passing during some sort of explosion is high.] AUHH!!
[Gongenzaka immediately flings the door open, and almost immediately chokes on whatever fumes from the explosion there are.] G-HK...Is... Are there injuries!?
[What a wild way of saying 'who's hurt'.]
no subject
Hey! Uh - [ Wait, he doesn't know this guy. ] - It's fine, I'm good. I sort of thought that might happen.
[ He coughs a little more, waving away smoke.. Behind him, something has just caught fire. Help? ]
no subject
AUH- You thought, that a fire would develop, and an explosion!? [He protests, the fluster in his tone rising.] Does that not seem dangerous, perhaps?!
[Well if Peter didn't know who this was before he....Can probably guess now.]

Seriously, Peter? Other people live here.]
What did you get attacked by?
[Aaaand he doesn't even ask about what he's building, even though he's curious.]
no subject
He looks up from the webshooter he's currently calibrating, a bit started. He hadn't heard Shouto come up. ]
Oh, hey. My best friend showed up at school, but we kind of got attacked by a bear.
[ They ... do look like claw marks, but. ]
no subject
Or you just need to be more aware of your surroundings, Peter.]
I didn't know there were bears in France.
[He doesn't believe you at all.]
Or that a bear attack could happen without everyone knowing about it.

Prompt 3 Campus
He glances up just in time to catch him swinging, gaze lighting up in recognition. Before he gets too far Yuya cups his hands around his mouth and calls out loudly.]
HEY SPIDER GUY!
no subject
Hey man! How's it going?
[ THUMBS UP! ]
no subject
[So... that was a busy night and Yuya missed any conversation about the transition boy who brought Ekke having spider powers. He just saw a glimpse of a masked hero.
Actually--] What's the costume for? Are you a student?

Fixer-Upper
Oh, here you are. [There's a clipboard tucked in the crook of her arm, and she's giving this mess a bit of a weird look.]
What's all this?
Re: Fixer-Upper
But no, this is Aube all right, even if he is making a terrible mess. At least it’s organized chaos? And - look, he’s gonna guiltily our away some of the stuff he’s sorted but isn’t actively working on. He scavenged this sweet tackle box that only had one massive dent in it, so he’ll start putting things away in there. ]
Hey Ms. Rivera. I was just putting some webshooters together.
[ He indicates the bracelets laid out on the bath towel in front of him. ]
Uh, I swear I’ll clean everything up afterwards.
no subject
It's not my dorm. As long as your RA is okay with the mess... [She's not the boss here. And even if she was, she wouldn't tell him to clean it up necessarily. He seems hard at work with something, after all... and the common rooms are meant to be used.
She comes over to take a look at his work, crouching down nearby.]
Do these have something to do with your... spider thing? [She waves her finger around in a small circle, gesturing to... something up in the air? It's a very vague gesture for a very vague idea of what's going on with that.]

Astronomy!
[What?]
I sure hope not.
[On her end, Gwen just brought her phone. Making a pact with a daemon that could also shapeshift into clothes had it's advantages. Like saving her a lot of money when she needed new wardrobe. Which was good, because she already did't have a lot of money to begin with.]
no subject
Well yeah, me too. But you can picture it, right?
no subject
I totally can, and I hate it.

Thanks for that.]
